Lake Taupo Trout Fishing And Guiding Report For The 17th Of July 2012

WOW where the hell did all that rain come from, yeah yeah I know the sky :)

The Tauranga Taupo shot up to 2.6 which is the highest I have seen it go in seven years of monitoring it. The Tongariro got up to its 5 year high as well. As I said though with the low lake level the water is being sucked out fast and I would say by tomorrow most of the rivers will be fishable again. Even the good old Waitahanui went Brown this morning, as that district got pummeled last night with the wet stuff.

I am out and about over the next few days so should have a better update then.
