Yuk would be a good way to describe the weather down here. I keep thinking we are going to lose the house, with the strength of the wind, also where we are, it is circulating and not really coming from just one direction. would love to see someone cast into it on the Tongariro, or Tauranga Taupo. Speaking of which I hear Turangi got a pasting last night with the wind. Hope you are all good down there!
That means the good old Hinemaiaia and Waitahanui will get more pressure from anglers, although I am sure it is windy on these two as well.
All in all not a good day to be anywhere near water. Wednesday and Thursday of this week we are supposed to get rain, easing to showers, then by Friday the wind should have dropped. I noticed the Tauranga Taupo had a wee increase in water volume, but it is dropping fast, hopefully we will get another burst of rain to bring levels up again in the region.
Take care out there!
