Sigh!!!!

Hey All, Sigh!!!!

dscf3825.JPGThey cheated, they must have. They filled the Waitahanui with 3 pounders, lots of them to boot. Look at Wayne Goodkin face, guilty as, they must have cheated!!!!!!! Yes it is a fact written in history, (sob sob) TRM beat us by 400 grms, that’s one good split shot up the A….

dscf3823.JPGBetween Paul, Alistair, Craig and Myself we must have pulled 50 fish from the Waitahanui in the past 48 hours and only 3 of these were over 4 pounds. I would swear now but I understand youngsters read this so I will abreviate my feelings $%#@#$%$#!!!!!!!!!!

Trout are right throughout the Waitahanui and although small are fat and heathly. There was only one good fish in the entire Tongariro this weekend and it was caught!!!!!!!!Being 4.5 pounds.

Now for the scary facts guys. Over the past 48 hours in two major rivers WELL OVER 100 fish have been caught and the heaviest of these has been weighed in at 4.5 pounds. August is the main month for good fish to spawn, grrrrrrrrrrr.

DOC are having a meeting at the Taupo Yacht club on the 11th of September at 5.30 to disscuss this small fish issue, want to come along, I will be there for sure.

Well done TRM, (the real men, (sigh)). You did well!

Regards Shane.

PS. I pissed in your river on the way home from the prize giving, (smile).
