A good weekend on the water for most. The Waitahanui had a small run go through last night with some excellent fish taken out this morning, all using glo bugs.
The stand out river would have to be the Tongariro at the moment with excellent catches reported over the whole weekend. The middle reaches have good numbers of fresh and older fish to have fun with.
I wasn’t sure if I should advertise my indicators on the web site, as I didn’t want to make a rod for my back. However due to customer demand I will now sell these over the internet, that way you won’t be disappointed if you stop in for one and I am sold out, these will also feature on the product review page so please check them out there. One of these could last you all season if you take care of it, (no promises there)!!
Also to be added on tonight is another Trout recipe. This time Crumbed fried Trout with Tartare Sauce. The Kids Loved this one.
I am out on the water all tomorrow, so will report in then.
