Report for Wednesday the 16th 2007

May 16, 2007

There are now plenty of fish in the Waitahanui and Hinemaiaia rivers due to the strong westerly we have had over the past twenty four hours.

Three of us fished the lower section of the Waitahanui this morning and picked up 6 fish very quickly. My two friends then went over to the Hine where they picked up a further two nice fish in very short time.

All fishe were taken on Glo bugs today. I will have a photo tomorrow of the special little Glowie that is killing them (figure of speech) ,first thing in the morning.

I forgot to take my camera this morning which was a shame as there were a few photo opportunities today.

We still have a good blow going on and from what the local boys told me this afternoon there are a few fish enetring the river all the time.

Regards Shane
