I deliberately haven't put this topic on as the subject has been pushed down anglers throats for ages now. I have noticed on other forum boards it is the least likely to be visited as well. Are there any readers out there who have seen the stuff? Are there and South Islanders who live near the stuff. Is it good for the aquatic life and that the dry fly fishing becomes spectacular? Were the Copper Sulfate trials they did, successful? Any info on this stuff would be welcome

Only in pictures but as an aside I have a client who imports a industrial 'deodorizer', sounds nasty but it is non haz. Yanks use it to take all the bad stuff (incl smells) out of oxidization ponds. It has also been very successful (in America again) in containing algae. The NZ agent has attempted to get it trialed in Rotorua and Sth Island however US case studies are not good enough for our Council's who will only act with DOC's consent. They want the importer to undertake enourmously expensive trials here (that they would supervise) at his expense....before it would even be considered. It's only a good idea if they come up with it! Much easier to put their heads back in the sand and pretend nothings happening, it's only hurting the fishing after all.

Can you buy a ready mixed solution you can just spray onto your gear instead of having to mix it up?
