Lower Hine flood protection work

Hi team,

I was up for a fleeting fish of the Hine recently and noticed the flood protection works (mainly straightening of the river and the construction of gravel banks along the lake side of the river) along the straight just up from the first bend in the lower river..

I was just interested on people's thoughts on the potential for this "new" area to hold fish as the season goes on?
