Hi Guys
I've got a week down that way in March - anyone have any tips for fishing that area? I'll be there for a week with the fiance, just cruising about, doing some tramping and looking for a place to conduct the marriage ceremony  Shocked  Tongue  Roll Eyes
So won't have heaps of time to fish, but hoping to get a few sessions in....
Cheers, and thanks in advance for any tips.

Hey SkankyHo,
Congrats on the engagement. Nice part of the country to get hitched. Lake Tekapo - Church of the Good Shepherd is a starter for 10. Got some good slime country round there too. Biguns in the canals plus Lake Alexandrina and all the other Mackenzie waters will keep you busy for a month or two. John Kents book is the go. Got all the directions in it etc......

If you need a wedding photog I can help - email me at brendon@mbmphoto.co.nz

Cheers, Troutlips

Thanks for that troutlips, good to hear from you again as well. And yes SkankyHO  if you want a professional photographer for your special day then Troutlips is the man. He has done some work for me in the past and he is excellent!  Can't fish for shit, but takes a mean picture, (smile) Kiss

Hi Guys - thanks for this. I have ordered the book and now just have to wait for it to arrive.
Troutlips, I'll shoot you an email. Might have to catch up and check out your pics to keep the missus happy....
Hi Shane, thanks for the help. No plans to include the North Island on this trip, but next year is the deadline for the next trip with the lads. They are talking about chasing bonefish, but with a wedding on the cards I might instead just come over your way and sleep in your garage     Grin
