Hi all , just seen the fishing results for Taltac last year. The 3 biggest rainbows caught in the Tongariro last year were 3.23kg , 2.70kg and 1.50kg.There are a lot of very experienced anglers who belong to Taltac so the fishery is obviously in really bad shape and it was supposedly better than the previous year!!!
Anyone got a different take on this??
And there is talk of a much better year this year, can it really turn around in 1 season?
Love to hear your comments

re my post. there are some good fish this year most of the fish i got were fresh as and full of fight with a few submarine browns in the mix. im definitely going to be making the drive to taupo more often this year. once these rains hit you guys should have a ball. oh and shane dude i still have one of your indicators from 2 seasons ago and its still going strong as ever after a comb out. those things are the bomb man!  Grin
