Hey All,

Well its been a hard climb back up into the top pages of Google rankings since the disarster with my last web hosting company, but the unique visits are back up there and my guiding has picked up again due to this. A big thank you goes out to Mike from OKcomputers here in Taupo for getting my web site back on the straight and narrow. If you are looking at having a web site made or hosted this is the guy to see.

The start of the Taupo winter trout season, has really kicked off, with all the rain and now the cold spell we are having. All the rivers have had a run of trout go through and its great to see that the condition of these winter trout has improved out of sight. The Waitahanui river is a great example of this with double figure trout being seen throughout the river and many within the 5 to 8 pound mark as well. The trout that are being taken from the lake are all fat and have obviously been eating well. DOC who manage the Taupo fishery will be VERY pleased with the season so far.

If you are new to Taupofishing .co.nz then check out the fishing report page. This updated regulaly and I am more than happy for you to contact me at any stage for more up to date info on the rivers.

I hope the rest of May brings you tight lines.

Regards Shane
